Chemical Safety Management
Where any activity in the workplace requires the use of chemicals that are hazardous, dangerous, corrosive, flammable or otherwise harmful to human health or the environment, certain legislative and other requirements for the storage, handling and disposal must be met. As a result, OTEK can:
- Conduct chemical and dangerous goods audits, including compliance audits
- Prepare hazardous substance registers and dangerous goods registers/manifests
- Conduct assessments to ensure storage and disposal of hazardous substances and dangerous goods is consistent with local, State and National legislation, Standards, Codes or Practices and Licences/Permits
- Collate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) folders for the workplace place and specific work areas
- Complete hazardous substance risk assessments
- Provide placarding advice
