Permitting & Approvals for New Projects

OTEK has developed a robust process on behalf of our clients, whereby we can apply a systematic approach for determining how and when sensitive Image 3 MediumDevelopment Applications (DAs) can be completed and submitted so that the project is approved with minimal costs and delays.

OTEK staff routinely utilise a range of flexible options for ascertaining how a development can be ‘flagged’ as being a significant risk or may have a potentially deleterious impact on the local environment and / or nearby residents.

By systematically assessing all pertinent risks including public concerns, OTEK is able to communicate with all interested parties to attain a mutually beneficial outcome.

Our trained employees implementing project management methodology into process of approval helps prepare for eventual outcomes, and ensure the process is as smooth and well communicated as possible.

We regularly work with local town planners, local residents, Federal and State government departments (including the EPA, Regional National Parks Officers, Aboriginal representatives and other council authorities) to ascertain viable and logical options that meet the requirement of interested parties.

In some cases, OTEK staff have assisted our clients negotiate win-win outcomes which will ensure that the project ultimately benefits the local residents and protects the immediate environment.

In all cases, these negotiations remain transparent and frequently involve OTEK and our clients working closely together with local residents or remote communities to ‘speak openly’ and enable the identification of any issues.
